Project PROTEA

Project PROTEA is an initiative led by Breast Cancer Hawaii in collaboration with community partners to educate and activate the community on cancer research.

2023 Summer Fellowship

Join us this summer in designing and implementing projects to help our local community make informed decisions about their health by connecting them with information about cancer and cancer research.

Fellowship Activities

During this pilot program, you will participate in interactive sessions to learn about cancer and cancer research in Hawaii through a mix of online training, guest speakers, and group discussions.

You will then take part in a "Design Sprint" to brainstorm and design two events with your cohort to educate and engage the public about cancer research.

You will also be paired with a professional mentor in your field of interest who will provide industry insight and help inform your projects.
